About Children by Choice

Children by Choice is committed to providing unbiased information on all unplanned pregnancy options to Queensland women and their families.  We offer referrals for abortion, adoption and parenting.

Children by Choice recognises that unintended pregnancy is a reality of women's lives. No contraceptive method is 100% effective and many new contraceptive products are not available in Australia.

Children by Choice is actively working towards:

• Making abortion services accessible to all women, regardless of where they live, age, financial status, cultural and religious background.

• Removing abortion laws from the Queensland Criminal Code.

• The provision of abortion services in public hospitals.
