Community Education

Children by Choice are committed to creating sexual and reproductive health educational opportunities for young people. We seek to enhance young peoples’ capacities to make informed and conscious decisions about their sexuality, sexual decision-making and sexual health.

Research indicates that comprehensive and accurate sexuality education can significantly delay the beginning of sexual activity and can better prepare young people to make safe and responsible decisions when engaged in sexual activity.

We offer sexual and reproductive health educational opportunities to high schools, communities, and tertiary institutions in the southeast region of Queensland and information and telephone support to all Queensland communities.

Children by Choice is currently undertaken the SHE-YWISE Project (Sexual Health Education 4 Young Women's Identity & Self-Esteem)
