Unplanned Pregnancy Counselling

Children by Choice are the only agency in Queensland dedicated to providing unbiased information and counselling to women experiencing unplanned pregnancy.  We provide confidential decision making counselling and referral on all pregnancy options - abortion, parenting and adoption.  We also provide support and counselling after an abortion.

Confidential and anonymous telephone counselling is available state-wide on 1800 177 725 (outside Brisbane) or (07) 3357 5377 in Brisbane from 9-5 Monday to Friday.  A message can be left out of hours.  To protect your privacy when returning phone calls, counsellors will not identify themselves until they speak to you directly.

Face-to-face counselling is available in Brisbane [transport options].  Counselling services are offered free of charge, although donations are appreciated.  The woman experiencing the unplanned pregnancy will be seen on her own first, then partners or family can join the session at her request.
