Children by Choice does receive funding for the counselling and education services we provide - however some of our most important activities are not covered by this funding, and run entirely on donations. Donating to these initiatives is a very important way of showing your support for the work of Children by Choice.

Women's Access Fund (WAF)

The Women's Access Fund is a project of Children by Choice which helps financially-disadvantaged women access pregnancy terminations. This vital fund is run entirely on donations by our members and supporters, and 100% of donations are used to help women access abortion.

Last financial year, WAF helped more than 369 women with over $16,000 in financial assistance – more already than the total for 2009-10 and double the number of women we assisted in 2006-07. Women in desperate circumstances continue to contact us. Your donations are greatly needed.

Political Donations

Children by Choice actively campaigns for abortion law reform in Queensland. We appreciate every donation, no matter the size, to help us with our political work. If you support the campaign for abortion decriminalisation in Queensland, and the other important sexual and reproductive health issues we work on, please send a donation.
