First session: evidence-based information on non-directive all options counselling - parenting, alternative care arrangements and adoption and abortion.

Introduction to reproductive coercion, contraceptive options

First session: provides an informed understanding of reproductive coercion in the context of unplanned pregnancy. 
Second session: Counselling supporting increased reproductive autonomy and applied practice.

Introduction to post-abortion counselling

First session  considers short-term counselling in the context of post-abortion. It will enhance understanding of factors in resolution after an abortion, assessment and referral pathways for health care practitioners. 
Second session : Counselling frameworks, practitioner self-care and applied practice.

Unplanned pregnancy best practice counselling (full day)

An immersive, full day specialized pregnancy options training workshop for all health and allied health care practitioners who may provide counseling to people with unplanned pregnancy.


Morning session: evidence-based information on non-directive all options counselling - parenting, alternative care arrangements and adoption and abortion.
Afternoon session: key counselling communication techniques and applied practice.

A specialized pregnancy options training module for health and allied healthcare practitioners who may work with pregnant people in the context of unplanned pregnancy. This short program provides evidence-based information on non-directive all options counselling - parenting, alternative care arrangements, adoption and abortion and key counselling communication techniques.

Intersection of unplanned pregnancy, domestic violence, reproductive coercion & contraception options (2 hours)

An advanced practitioner workshop that explores domestic violence and reproductive coercion in the context of unplanned pregnancy decision-making. It will enhance understanding, assessment and referral pathways for health and allied health care and support practitioners who may provide unplanned pregnancy and post-abortion counseling or support clients who have ongoing case management or engagement with services.

Guest lectures

We deliver guest lectures and presentations on request to tertiary medical, nursing, public health, midwifery, or law students, and other groups. These lectures are tailor-made to meet course requirements.

Agency visits

We welcome visits from workers across the community, health and education sectors to talk about our work and what's important to your clients and organisation. Let us know if you would like us to visit your service.
