Looking after yourself during pregnancy
Pregnancy is not an illness, but it is a time of rapid change to your physical and mental health.
You are important and you need to look after yourself during this time.
There are several components of good self care during pregnancy. They include
- Looking after your health and wellbeing;
- Managing work or study while you're pregnant and after you give birth;
- Attending antenatal care; and
- Planning for birth.
