At Children by Choice, we believe that everyone has the right to make their own choices about pregnancy, parenting, and reproductive health including people with an intellectual disability.

We acknowledge that people with disability, particularly women and people with intellectual disability, have too often had their reproductive rights taken away. Many have experienced reproductive coercion, forced contraception, or pressure about pregnancy and parenting. This injustice causes deep harm and has denied people the right to make their own decisions about their bodies and lives.
At Children by Choice, we are committed to changing this. Our counsellors provide free, confidential, and non-judgemental support to help you understand your pregnancy options and make the choice that feels right for you.

I’ve always wanted to be a mum. I’ve always wanted to be pregnant & weirdly always wanted to experience child birth. But when I saw those 2 lines for the first time ever, I wasn’t happy.
I am a transmasc Agender person and here is my story, I was in an abusive relationship at the age of 13 and I got pregnant.
I will never forget sitting in that room, hearing his words but feeling like I was watching someone else's story and not mine.
