The Abortion and Contraception Services Map is a publicly accessible online directory used by clients, referrers and healthcare workers. Listing your practice helps ensure Queenslanders can access the care they need when they need it.

Services we welcome on the Abortion and Contraception Service Map

We encourage you to register your service if you provide any of the following:

IUD or contraceptive implant insertion
Medical or surgical abortion
Non directive pregnancy options support
Vasectomy or tubal ligation
Pathology or imaging
Hormonal contraception (injection, vaginal ring, oral pill)

About the Abortion and Contraception Service Map

The MAPP is a philanthropically funded initiative designed to improve access to abortion and contraception services for all Queenslanders, with a particular focus on regional, rural and remote communities.
For many years, Children by Choice has heard from clients, referrers and healthcare professionals that abortion services are difficult to find and pathways can be unclear. There has been no publicly available list of abortion or contraception providers across Queensland.
The MAPP aims to change this.
