Digital Contraception and RCA Project

Children by Choice is an independent Queensland-based non-profit organisation, committed to providing counselling, information, and education on all pregnancy options – abortion, adoption, kinship and alternative care and parenting. We also advocate for improvements to law and policy that would increase access to reproductive health services and information. Our vision is that people can freely and safely make their own reproductive and sexual health choices without barriers.

We are looking for health professionals and pharmacists with expertise in contraception and/or domestic and family violence services to review and discuss contraceptive resources with a lens of reproductive coercion and abuse. Participants will attend one of three 1.5-hour online roundtable sessions facilitated in mid-November 2023. The insights from these discussions will directly contribute towards an interactive digital contraception and RCA screening resource, and contraceptive information/resources for health professionals.
